The schedule for this year’s homecoming week has officially been announced. ASB has finished their large homecoming poster that represents the different theme days for the special, spirit filled week.
On Monday, Oct. 21 the theme is Generation day. Freshmen will dress up as babies, sophomores as kids, juniors as adults, and seniors as senior citizens. Homecoming coronation will also be on that Monday, at 7 p.m. in the Terraceum.
This year’s homecoming court will be announced that night. On Tuesday, Oct 22, the theme day is “Into the Wild,” with students encouraged to dress up as things and animals found in the wild.
Wednesday, Oct. 23 is Walt Disney Day, where hawks can dress up as anything Disney.
Thursday, Oct. 24 is Video Game Madness day. Corresponding with the overall homecoming theme, video games, on this day students will dress up sporting costumes for their video game theme. Freshmen are Donkey Kong, sophomores are Sonic the Hedgehog, juniors are Pokemon and seniors are Super Mario.
Friday, Oct. 25 is a very busy homecoming day. The theme during the day is class colors. Freshmen wear gray, sophomores wear white, juniors wear black and seniors wear red. The homecoming assembly will be during school on Friday.
That night, Hawks Football plays Shorewood at 8 p.m. in this year’s homecoming game. To wrap up the exciting week, the homecoming dance will be Saturday from 9 p.m. until 12 p.m. Tickets will go on sale soon and cost $10 each with and ASB card and $15 each without an ASB card.
