Student Name: Madison Haney
Mother’s Name: Carla Haney
Father’s Name: Mark Haney
GPA: 4.0
Clubs and Activities: I am involved in Key Club, National Honor Society, and Crossfit. I have also been involved with Project Unify.
ASB: I am currently the vice president for the class of 2014, so I help out with fundraisers for the Prom, ASB service projects like the canned food drive and setting up for school events such as Homecoming.
Athletics: I have been involved with sports since freshman year. I participated in girls soccer, getting a varsity letter my senior year and I have participated in girls tennis, being on the varsity team since sophomore year.
Awards: I was awarded Most Improved Player for tennis in 2013; I was awarded as an AP Scholar by the College Board, meaning I have received a score of 3 or higher on all the AP tests I have taken.
Community Service: I have done countless hours of community service while helping out with different organizations. I was a leader at my youth group for a group of junior high girls, I volunteered as a coach at a summer day camp called International Soccer Academy for two weeks in the last two summers, and I was a crew leader for Vacation Bible School at my church for three summers. I have also worked with United Way to help the local Mountlake Terrace Senior Center move buildings in part with MLK Day of Service.
Culminating Project: For my culminating project I am writing a research paper on education reform in America, looking into how the education system works, reform ideas, and how it compares to other countries around the world.
Current Employment: I am currently a child care provider for three families. I work as a nanny in the summer and over school breaks for one family and babysit whenever the other families need it.
Future Educational Goals: My goals for the future are to graduate from university with a degree in International Relations. I want to minor in Art History. This is just an idea of what I want to do, but I am keeping my options open for the future. I may end up studying something completely different.
Future Career Goals: All I know for sure is that I want to do something that influences people for good, no matter what I end up doing.

Current Employment: Lifeguard and swim instructor at the Lynnwood Recreation Center. I have worked there for around seven months.
Future Educational Goals: Major in kinesiology and athletic training. I really want to work in the field and with different sports and athletes. Sports Medicine has always been a passion of mine. I also would love to minor in digital photography and graphic design. I have always loved taking pictures and seeing different things that people overlook.
