HBN, or Hawk Broadcasting Network, live streams both men’s and women’s varsity basketball games on our YouTube channel (@HawkTvHBN).
We also cover all Edmonds School District high school graduations. We film Mountlake Terrace High School assemblies and other events including: MTHS plays and musicals, CTE field trips, and guest speeches. We compete in WJEA (Washington Journalism Education Association) contests and also go to WJEA conferences like J-Day.
HBN has a podcast called ‘Hawkcast’ where we will be posting informational episodes regularly. While HBN has an adviser, Angelo Comeaux, it is a completely student-run club (with the occasional expert suggestion). HBN has meetings every Tuesday in the studio next to room 114 at 2:05 p.m.
