Hawks rack up the winter sports accolades

Zaveon Jones named to All Tourney First Team in 3A basketball

It was quite a winter sports season for the Hawks, with all the teams having successful runs through the WesCo regular season and each team seeing the post-season. Here is a quick wrap-up of some of the main awards and significant finishes for Terrace athletes in the 2021-2022 winter sports season.

Men's Basketball6th in state 3AThis is the first time the Hawks have placed 6th in a state tournament. The team has finished 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and now 6th in its history.
Men's BasketballDistrict 1 ChampionsThe Hawks went undefeated en route to the Regional round of the state tournament.
Men's BasketballFirst Team All State 3A Tournament TeamSophomore forward Zaveon Jones becomes the first Terrace athlete to earn the award. No other non-senior was named to the team.
