Hawks battle Mavericks in 100th game, improve to 14-1

Friday January 12th, 2018 marks the 100th game between the Meadowdale Mavericks and the Mountlake Terrace Hawks and the pressure was on for the Hawks and the Mavericks as the stands were packed. Meadowdale put up a tough fight, but the Hawks were victorious with a final score of 65-50.

The Hawks played tough defense throughout the game only giving up 22 points in the first half. Also during the first half, as a team they had 8 personal fouls and 16 for the whole game.

The top scorers for the Hawks were Senior Brendan Hayes with 22 points, Junior Mason Peterson who scored 15 points, Senior Khyree Armstead with 9 points and Sophomore Mason Christianson and Senior Max Hull both with 6 points.

Terrace now has a record of 14-1 overall and will face Everett High School (6-9) next on Friday, January 19th at 7:15pm at Mountlake Terrace High School.
