About us:
The mission of HOSA is to empower members to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience. Our chapter at MTHS focuses on competition in leadership and health related events, as well as an emphasis on leadership by helping the community through blood drives, volunteering, and educating on health.
Awards and recognition we’ve received:
- 2023: Charlie Li placed 1st for biotechnology and 3rd for medical math
- 2023: Angela Grachev placed 3rd for Health Career Photography
- 2023: Aubrey Swenson, Jade Lim, and Ahna Elsberry placed 5th for Public Health at the State Leadership Conference.
- 2023: Charlie Li placed 1st place for biotechnoloy at the International Leadership Conference.
- 2024: Charlie Li placed 1st in Clinical Laboratory Science, qualifying for Internationals.
- 2024: Sofi Traina and Max Waldbaum placed 4th in forensics at the State Leadership Conference.
- 2024: Elliot Willwerth placed 5th in Biotechnology at the State Leadership Conference.
