The Mountlake Terrace Farmers’ Market will open on May 6, and run every Thursday until Sept. 30 from 3-7 p.m. Held on the corner of 58th and 232nd, just north of the Mountlake Terrace Library, the market will house a group of 25 vendors who will be selling local fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers and more.
The market will be run by the Mountlake Terrace Business Association. Grant Davidson, manager of farmers’ markets in Lake Forest Park, Woodinville and Bellevue, has been hired by the Mountlake Terrace Business Association to run the market in Mountlake Terrace. Part of Davidson’s income will come from a fee paid each week as well as a fee from each vendor based on their profit.
