A female MTHS senior was hit by a vehicle on her way to school shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday morning as she crossed 44th Ave. West at a marked crosswalk south of the campus.
The driver of the vehicle slammed on their breaks and helped the victim, who was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
On Hawk TV this morning, Principal Greg Schwab reminded students to stay safe while walking to school, especially in pre-dawn hours.
