The End-of-course exams will be held from June 5th to June 7th. The Algebra, Geometry, and Biology exams will be on June 5th, 6th, and 7th respectively. Students were given pink slips on May 31st on what exams they need to take, and the room they are assigned to. Testers need to be in their seat by 7:20 a.m. on the day of their exam(s). Testing will be dismissed at 9:45 a.m. ID are required for students who are taking the test. For those who are not taking any test, classes will start at 10:05 a.m. Buses will load at their regular time and three hours later.
Class of 2015
The class of 2015 have to pass two math EOC, and the biology EOC.
If currently taking Algebra 1, they need to take the EOC on June 5th, and the Geometry EOC on Spring 2013. If currently taking Geometry, they need to take the EOC on June 6th, and take the Year 1 and/or Year 2 retake exam if needed on Spring 2013. If currently taking Algebra 2, they need to take the Year 1 and/or Year 2 retake exam if needed. If not currently taking Algebra 1 or Geometry, they need to wait until they are enrolled in an EOC class, or in sophomore year.
For Science, Students currently taking need to take the Biology EOC on June 7th. For those who are not currently enrolled in Biology, they need to take it the spring of 2013.
Class of 2014
The class of 2014 only need to pass one math EOC exam.
If currently taking Algebra 1, they need to take the EOC on June 5th. If currently taking Geometry, they need to take the EOC on June 6th. If currently taking Algebra 2, they need to take the Year 1 and/or Year 2 retake if needed. Students who have not yet taken Algebra 1 or Geometry would need to take the Year 1 retake exam.
For Science, those who are currently taking Biology would need to take the EOC exam on June 7th. For those who are not currently enrolled in Biology, need to take it, but do not have to pass it.
Class 0f 2013
The class of 2013 have the same requirements as the class of 2014. However, they do not have to take the Biology EOC exam.
Class of 2012
Students who have already passed a state math exam, do not need to take an EOC. Those who are earning two credits of math after 10th grade do not need to take EOC. Those in an EOC course can pass an EOC exam to meet the math graduation requirement. Students who do not have a valid attempt on the math HSPE must take an EOC in order to be eligible to graduate. They are not required to take the biology EOC.
