Former MTHS student Darian Sharpe was formally charged with first-degree robbery on April 24. Sharpe, who was expelled for his involvement in the Dec. 4 assault and robbery of another student, was also facing legal troubles from an incident from June 2012.
The other suspect, a former MTHS junior, was expelled after being charged with one count of robbery in the first degree in January.
The victim sustained a broken jaw, at least one knocked out tooth, and a concussion but has since returned to school.
