On Tuesday, Jan. 22, one day before finals, the Associated Student Body (ASB) will hold a special study session. ASB is hosting the event in preparation for the final exams which will take place over the next two days. The study session will be in the HUB from 2 to 7 p.m. and will be open to anyone who wants to study for finals and relax before all of the incoming stress.

According to Executive ASB Public Relations Officer Andy Nguyen, the main point of this special study session is to build a relaxing environment for students who want to study for their finals and get some last minute help. Nguyen also stated that many teachers will be present to help any students who may need extra help. Additionally, members of the MTHS chapter of the National Honor Society will be offering to tutor to anyone who may need it.

“The whole point is to build community using the group effort of ASB, teachers and other clubs that wish to help,” Nguyen said. “Snacks, drinks and relaxing music will be provided by the ASB as part of their effort to make the environment less stressful.”
