Thanks to some nifty coordination between the Hawkeye and the trombone section of Jazz 1, now  you, too, can sit in with the band as they perform at the Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Look around. Check out the other sections. Take direction from Darin Faul. Smile along with the audience members. Mostly, however, enjoy sitting in with one of the best jazz bands in North America.
