Dr. Kris McDuffy, the current superintendent of the Arlington School District, has been named the new superintendent of the Edmonds School District.

The school board made its decision following last night’s public forum, which was broadcast live here thanks to our broadcast partner Hawk TV/HBN. The forum featured the two finalists for the job, McDuffy and Dr. Chrys Sweeting who is an assistant superintendent in the Puyallup School District.
McDuffy replaces retiring Dr. Nick Brossoit who has served as the district’s superintendent since 2004.
